Each algorithm require several parameters. Each parameter is designated by its short name, but you can have a brief description (if available), hitting the "?" button on the right of the parameter line.
Each parameter may have a unit. If more than one unit is possible for a parameter, you can choose the unit you want with the popup menu on the right of the parameter entry box.
Note: if you have entered a value for a parameter, and you then change the unit, the value will converted.
If a required parameter has already been entered (for an other algorithm), it's value will be already fullfilled. Thoses informations are saved as soon as you save the document.
Note: a parameter is global for all algorithms. That means that if you change the age of the patient, for example, in an algorithm, this modification will be valid for all algorithms which require the age of the patient.
There are algorithms where some parameters are only requiered if some other parameter has a certain value. In this case, thoses parameters are accessible only when needed. It is clear that, when activated, they are required.
When all required parameters have a value (there is no verification of the validity
of the values at this state for now.
This may change in the future), you can run the algorithm hitting the
button.
Note that if nothing happen when hit it, that means that you haven't fullfilled
all the required parameters.
